A few variations on handles/ grab bars/ crashbars I made to greeble up my ships a bit.
Decorative only! Not for actual handle-grabbing! (yet)

Full construction models and LODs.

Realistic (I think) amount of materials required, so survival ready.

Most blocks have dirty chrome and painted metal versions. To avoid having double the blocks, I've decided to use the system I got from Balmung's Letters mods (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1700265063) where the last construction stage is used as a cosmetic change. Because of that, I've had to add a few extra steel plates to most blocks so that you don't destroy them in one whack from your grinder.

What's included:

- Single grab handle
- Double grab handle
- Triple size XXL grab handle
- Double grab handle on flat light armor plating
- Layered cosmetic vents (no chrome)

Update # 1: Exhaust Pipes

- Exhaust pieces include straight, 90 degree corners, straight with two different heat shrouds (classic trucker style and grated) and flares (end pieces)

(Possible) Future plans:
- Exhaust pipe smoke or thrust effects
- Grabbable handles

I might add some more stuff, I'm open to suggestions but would like to keep it to more general use stuff that could fit different types of ships, so nothing toooooo specific or narrow in use.

That sounds pretty awesome actually. I dunno, I might take a look and see how much effort it would take. I haven't modded SE in nearly a year now, usually once I start modding a game, I stop playing it because I'm burnt out on it.

It's got some neat things, though I could understand why some people might not be ok with spending the money on it. The part in question is interesting. While I can't say I'm a fan of the model it's using (looks a bit too sci-fi considering the rest of the DLC look more post-apoc themed), it has the option to respond to power consumption. So if you're just sitting there, it barely puts out any particles. But if you suddenly accelerate it starts spewing them out like a fog machine.

Now that we have a functioning 'exhaust' in vanilla DLC, any chance of adding the same functionality to the exhaust pipes in this pack?

Love this mod. Came here looking for exactly this kind of thing. All ships look too blocky without some sort of "greeble" as you call it haha. Some ideas for you to kindly consider:
Small grid grating/ventilator, cables/power cables, exposed machinery/gears/cogs, antennae (car-like), wipers for cockpits lol? "Refueling" nozzles, like on airplanes/cars, even if kon functional in space engineers, "bumper bars" like on old 40's cars would look great. Ropes/winch cables, little outside emergency stowage box for small grid (even if unusable). Just some ideas :)

I am working on making a grabbable version of one of the handles. Most of the problems involve fighting Keen's code etc, so that's something to look forward to.
