Forsaken Faction For Alpha Genes

Description
This is a continuation of the Forsaken Biotech Edition mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100999057, adding back all the content that Sarg didn't port to Alpha Genes.

Features

Adds the Forsaken faction back into the game, now using Alpha Gene's version of the xenotype.

The two Forsaken specific drugs and their crops are also back, but just as the rest of the Forsaken gear, only pawns with Forsaken Knowledge are able to produce them.

Also adds back the quest leading you to an ancient Forsaken shrine and its potential recruit to help you access all the Forsaken content.

Issues

In the conversion process we had to overwrite a def from Alpha Biomes ; players running this mod will be given a one time harmless red error and all ragadast fruits present on their map will disappear.

DO NOT run this mod alongside the original Forsaken Biotech mod. There's so much overlapping content its sure to break something somewhere.

FAQ

Q. Can this be added mid-save?

Aside from the previously mentionned issue there should not be any problem. You'll need VEF's faction discovery tool to add the Forsaken faction to your game.

Q. Can this be run without Biotech/Alpha Genes?

Absolutely not.

Q. CE?

I'm not in control of the gear anymore.

Future plans?

Too early to discuss but we do have a few ideas for expanding content.

@Greven : Nope, you should have access to all the tech within Sargs' mod, including the Forsaken Knowledge gene. The tech will only be useable by pawns having that gene, however.
This mod will add a Forsaken faction to the game, and the possibility to start the game as your own Forsaken clan.

Question: I have Sarj Alpha biomes/Genes but do I need this mod to get their Tech?
Iv seen the weapons/armor/crop but it says I need the genes do I need this?

Hello folks, sorry for the long reaction time I've been quite caught up in IRL stuff lately and didnt have a lot of time to spare for modding.
Pushed an update to fix the error Dibolic and TurtleShroom signaled. Thx to Dibolic for providing the correction in advance.

I've encountered a problem with this mod, for some factions, the "show what will buy" button stops working when I click on them, when its enabled. It might also be related to a second problem observed, some trade caravans lack a trader, although I cannot yet verify that.

Hello, I encounter a compatibility issue with Simple Improve that I had reported in the dedicated Discussion, with log and details. The error occurs for regular buildings.
Since it has been 2 weeks, I hope it is just a notification issue.
Would like to use both mods in the same game.

Well I gave it a try and everything seems to work as intended... Progression Agriculture is probably your best bet, can't tell you more as I don't use it myself and don't intend to.

So, workGiver, yes - that's because I could not plant anything, and error will trigger when I right-click on growing zone. I did not try to plant forsaken plants at all, just veggies and healroot. However, I use progression:agriculture and earlier bought ragadast seeds from trader. I since abandoned that run so can not test further.
