I would like to start off by addressing the elephant in the room which many of you are probably aware; bugs and performance issues,

Im playing the game on my i7-7700k, GTX 1080, 32GB 2400mhz rig (which is pretty outdated by today's standarts) and the
game most of the time runs relatively well with a mild overclock. (70-80 fps on native 1080p, 55-60 in crowded areas)
As for the bugs part; yeah, there are a lot. I wouldn't mind most of the bugs if they weren't immersion breaking which is
realtively important in a story driven game as you can imagine. They don't stop with that either, many of the bugs straight
up just break the game's economy and progression. With that being said im not going to deduct too many points for this
part because these issues will most likely get resolved in upcoming january and february patches confirmed by the
developer.

Next up; Story and the open world,

The story of this game is absolutely fantastic. The fact that this game manages to tell a compelling but also a believable
story in what feels like such a distant future is simply brilliant. The story is not too long or too short, it takes just as much as
it needs to fully develop their characters and their relationships with each other. Performances of the main protagonist "V"
and our friend Johnny silverhand is amazing with sometimes funny and sometimes emotional dialogue which take place
exactly where they need to be. The choices you make are also very important and mass effect like which great.
Stories of the side jobs that this game has are almost as well written as the main story.
They are not your typical "Side quests" that you would see in most of the RPGs with cookie-cutter stories, no. I genuinely
enjoyed every single one of them I played and they are so important that you actually can't unlock many of the endings this
game has unless you complete these and develop your relationships with certain characters. As for the world, even though
im a bit disappointed by how robotic and lifeless a lot of the NPCs feel, im very impressed by night city overall. The city
packed with tons of cool detail, easter eggs and loot you can find.

Progression and itemization systems,

A lot of the gear you find in Cyberpunk 2077 is boring, but the ones that are exciting make it worth it for the troubles your F
button goes through, let me explain; Most of the enemies you fight and the friends you make that have some importance to
the main or side stories will drop "iconic" grade items which are all unique, both in terms of their visual and gameplay
design as for the basic enemies you fight (which is majority of the enemies that you will be fighting); yeah, their loot is also
very basic and boring, just like any other RPG. the weapon variety is very low and the weapon customization is certainly
not as elaborate as the trailers make it seem like (you can only add a suppressor and a scope) you can't change your barrel,
stock or your magazine size. The place the itemization system shines is the crafting and upgrading systems, if there is a
weapon that you really like you generally don't need to change it, you can upgrade the iteam to scale to your level and
iconic grade items you can craft higher rarity versions of them on top of upgrading them which gives them more mod slots
and and a random new affix on top of a generous dps or armor boost. As for the progression, its almost perfect. The level
cap seems reasonable, the skill trees are deep and meaningful for the build you would like to go for and the grind doesn't
seem so harsh. The only nitpick I have is that street cred is mostly a useless systems as its only meaningful purpose is to
lock some small jobs and intrlduce arbiterary locks to purchasing some items, it doesn't effect any of your dialogue options
with characters.

Lastly; Gameplay,

Most of the missions in Cyberpunk 2077 do an okay job of making you feel like you are doing something different in every
mission, therefore there isn't much of an issue with mission variety. The moment to moment gameplay feels mostly great in
gunplay terms as the iconic weapons you collect -- as i said above -- all feels different. Weapon sounds and animation
quality are top notch but the melee combat feels very shallow and button mushy while most of "finisher" animations get
bugged and look very weird. Overall, the gameplay feels great.

VERDICT: 8.5/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
