                                                                   Games you should play

The Ori duology - Stunning game, I suggest you go into this without expectations, and with an almost childlike curiosity and wonder. The games look amazing, have fantastic ost, an emotional story and gameplay that gets more fun as you go. Completing a save file isn't actually that hard or very grindy, it's fun I'd even say. Try it even if you don't like 2d platformers, it's a good gateway to these games alongside Celeste.

Celeste - A stunning experience, literally. Fun and challenging; looks, feels and sounds pretty; very touching story and something everyone should experience. Go in without expectations or prejudice, forget everything you ever heard about it, like most of these games it's best played blind.

Note: I played Ori before Celeste, a good bit apart, and it's funny how similar my passionate descriptions are.

Subnautica - Do you like exploration, feeling terrified, overcoming that feeling, feeling terrified again and continuing that loop a few times? If s then hell yeah. Lot of exploration, good story, beautiful atmosphere, base building and more. But who am I kidding, you've definitely heard of Subnautica before. No shame if not, though!

Smaller games:

Eastshade - Beautiful atmospheric exploration experience, nice story, plenty of things to do to give your journey more direction. Keep it mind that it's stylised like a 00s-10s console game.

Donnerwald Experiment - Nice, growing game from a nice dev. See my review for more information (The game got beefier since then btw :))
