I loved Torchlight 1 and 2 and played many hours. It appears the devs spent much time in the look of the game because it really is beautiful and has vibrant colors. And apparently not so much time on the game itself as it is very basic and almost clunky. I also found it lagging/freezing a lot but maybe that has something to do with my 49 inch monitor, idk. While I am certain many will probably be happy ok with this game, it is simply not up to my standards of what a super rpg should be. Thankfully I was able to discern all this in the first hour of play so lucky I was able to get a refund.

Fun game. Somewhat complicated to keep track of with all the variations coins, sparks, sparkles, tokens, soul juice and such. It is a very slow advance unless you basically pay level up and they provide tons of opportunities to spend your money. lol. But all that said, still a fun game.

Ok so I was not sure about this game and really bought it because I currently live near the city of Detroit so I thought what the heck. I now have about 16 or so hours in the game. The first time I loaded the game, it seemed to take quite a long time to load while it 'looked' at my configuration. But only the first time. Never experienced any crashes as some others have reported.

I love this game! It may very well be my favorite game of all time. The graphics and audio are stunning. The story-line got me totally absorbed into it. For a while I was undecided on whether I was on the side of the humans or the androids but I have finally made my decision. lol

I have not traditionally been a fan of many interactive-type story games but this one is is different. And since the choices you make alter the eventual outcome, I find I need to choose very wisely (or not as the case has been). I already know I will spend many, many hours with this masterpiece and even find myself thinking about the game when away from it (guess I need to get a life). The only negative I can think of is I wish the game was longer.

I absolutely highly recommend this game!

So I really like the entire Far Cry series and this game is no exception. After coming off FC5, I was not certain exactly what to expect. The story line is pretty good and who doesn't like 'paradise'. Got many chuckles from comments from that dweeb 'Bean from Wikibeania".

Nice game play with a fair amount of grinding. Weapons are awesome-especially the elite ones. A very nice world to explore although I will agree with others in the overabundance of the use of the color pink, which is not one of my top five colors to begin with.

Overall a nice game to play however I thought the map was pretty small in comparison to others in the franchise.
I think for a 19$ investment, you will get a good number of hours of fun in a pretty polished game.

Ok I probably should wait to write review because I was one of the suckers apparently that paid full price for the game and then it goes on a 20 percent discount less than two weeks later. Stupid marketing moves like that do nothing but pissoff loyal customers and will no doubt gonna back fire on Valve in the long run. At the least, will certainly delay revenue for Steam as we learn to wait and not jump right at release. Lesson learned Valve. Gosh I feel much better now getting that off my chest. lol. Anyway, back to the game.

First off the game is fun. Good story, action, and characters. It's pretty easy to fall in love with this game. The scenery is very detailed and the voice actors are awesome. You can almost feel the cold and freeze attacking you when in snow and mountains areas. The certain gritty aspect of the old west and voice accents just add to the experience. The story is solid although it is quite easy to get off track with side quests which is pretty cool too. And the story keeps you interested and immersed. Besides, who doesn't like to brandish a nice six-shooter anyway.

That said, I think it is crazy that as a 'fix' to starting the game for so many (me included) is to unplug your controller before launching it. I mean ok that works. But why should we have to do that for a game that costs almost 60$ USD, whoops, I mean 47$ for all the wise and smart people that waited a bit to buy it. I would think devs would have that worked out but hey, at least it will launch (most times) doing it that way. The only other negative I can think of is that occasionally the game will crash on me. This does not happen very often and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why. However, No problem, just unplug your controller and fire that baby up again and turn on the controller and you're good to go for another run.

Would I buy this game again? Absolutely! However I did learn a lesson for me to slow down and 'set a spell' - like a couple of weeks to get in on a deal. Why pay more than ya have to? That said, I think the game it worth the money (even at full price), in spite of the loading issue and occasional crashing. And you will probably experience may hours of awesome fun playing this game. And now for me, it's back to running from the law and chasing outlaws. Enjoy.

Well since there are a slew of red 'negative' reviews, why not add one more. OK it's a cheap game, I get that. But at least there should be some sense of direction, and maybe a tiny bit of fun. But alas, nope.
Hit a ball. Thing resets. Hit a ball. Thing resets. Watching paint dry has more action i think.

Fun. I admit some of the puzzles are a little complicated but doable. Just a pretty neat game.

Great Game. Have played it off and on for a few years. Toxic community. Totally addictive. This game robs you of your time. You will have no life outside this game once you journey in. Do it!
