The last update for Paths to Victory was just released. I convinced my bro to play, and between us, we figured out how to get a stable multiplayer game. It takes a little work, but we just about eliminated the desync errors. Let me know if you want to get a game going.

OK, this seems to be an issue related specifically to Vista + HW2, and does not have so much to do with this mod.

THe issue is, that those trying to host a game in LAN with Hamachi in HW2 will fail, as the game is invisible to all other players. Players on XP machines who host a game will be visible to Vista players, but upon joining they will get an error.

Now, I've found a solution using hamachi (though I guess it would just as fine with your real IP)

In Hamachi, on the top of the screen is your hamachi IP adress. If you host your game via TCP/IP in homeworld 2, and give this adress to fellow hamachi players, they will be able to join games hosted on Vista machines. I have not been able to connect to others via TCP/IP, though, using Vista."
