Gave it a try despite the mixed reviews and I don't regret it at all, kept me hooked for 58 hours.
Basically plays like a much improved Human Revolution, which I really enjoyed too.

10/10 it's an MGS Game.

Compared to the prior, more linear MGS games, you have an open world to play the mission in any way you like.
Guards also aren't as predictable anymore, you have to change your tactics on the fly and it makes for great replayability.

The only downside is that this is just a prologue for the Phantom Pain and therefore the main mission is a bit short.
But they make up for it with great gameplay, an amazing story and side missions that will get you a few more hours out of the game.
It also is an amazing port that runs incredibly well. It's overall a really polished game and for the current price, you can't go wrong with it.

I personally really miss David Hayter's voice for Snake. Kiefer Sutherland does a good job as well and i'll get used to it, but Hayter has been voicing Snake since my childhood and will always be my Number 1 Snake voice.
