There's an interloper betwixt us

Really good large scale WWII shooter.

Pretty realistic, but not to the psychotic levels some games think is fun. Makes a good replacement for the Day of Defeat/Day of Infamy shaped void in the shooter world at the moment. Either playing in a squad with friends or just in a squad that knows how to communicate is a blast, and every couple yards your team gains actually feels well earned with the slower, harder flow that fights have.

Could use some optimization on lower end machines, but that's my only complaint tbh.

Like Payday 2, but quicker to level up in, and not 90 gigabytes.
So a lot better than Payday 2.

Good gunplay, kinda arcadey, but it flows real good.

Great game if you love people with lower rank than you screaming at you that you're playing wrong, followed by them reporting you for TK'ing when they step in front of your moving vehicle. Also wonderful if you're a fan of clans ruining any and all opportunities to have fun in combat by stealing all of your army's resources for their "operations." (also they can mass report you and get you banned)

In my 30 some-odd hours the only time this was enjoyable was when I got on with a friend, and snuck behind enemy lines to cause chaos, but even then you're at high risk of people in your own army being pissy that you dared to take an unlocked vehicle that you found abandoned. And also getting yelled at when we "waste respawns" by spawning at a base that a clan has deemed "theirs." But them TK'ing us immediatly after apparently isn't a waste of respawns.

Between the clans' rigging of the game against non clan players, and the lack of any fun in logistics, which is 2/3 of the reason teams win in this game, there isn't a lot of enjoyment to squeeze out of Foxhole, at least as it stands currently. The game sounds great on paper, but there's little to no fun to be had unless you like treating video games like a job. Unless logistics is reworked, most time you spend will either be driving a truck between 2 locations for hours on end, or being screamed at by people way too into the game if you dare to actually try out the gunplay.

The devs actively censor people who complain about the game on their discord, and seem more interested in just adding new ways to kill each other than actually fixing the game's flaws. So overall, I can't recommend this to anyone who wants an actually decent game to play.

Brain hurty

I've spent more time working on this virtual POS car than I have working on my IRL POS car.

In all honesty, this game is one of the best games I've played for under 20 bucks. Wholeheartedly reccomend, just either come into it with a knowledge of car mechanics, or the will to learn them by brute force.
