For a game that's been in development this long with the amount of money they've made it's really really rough around the edges, or as my friend calls it "clunky". It looks really pretty but constantly run into weird mechanics that are half-assed and unpolished. As well for as much time spent on the in-game models it seems very little time was spent with the UI and UX, especially the map -- something that seems to be common with MMO WWII Sim cash grabs of it's time like Hell Let Loose.

Maybe try it again in a year see if it's improved.

Amazing game so far for a pre-alpha in Early Access. Kind of like ARK meets Mad Max -- very interesting PvP. Only hope it gets better from here!

Currently what seems to be very early access. It's similar to DayZ or The WarZ without zombies and with a little bit of Rust and Escape from Tarkov flavoring. If you like any of those games then you'll probably be interested in checking this game out. Hope it only gets better.

Hostiles at the Pit!

Perhaps one of the most underrated/underappreciated games of the last 10+ years. You don't have to be a fan of the Mad Max movies to see how solid of a game this is. Action, adventure, driving, sneaking, combat and the soundscape that immerses you are all perfect.

Definitely a hidden gem in the pile of games on Steam.

Do you like SHMUPs? Do you like RPGs? Do you like arcade shooters? If you answered yes to any of those questions then you'll probably enjoy this very unique mix of genres from Pixeljam. In development for over 4 years by an indie studio has produced a solid title with unique gameplay and beautiful art-style.

This game an on-going joke of a product, released with game breaking bugs and still riddled with amateur issues that the devs seem to love to ignore.

Don't waste your time or money on this game unless you like losing all the items in your lockers, corrupted saves or you speak/read Russian as often the Russian localization shows up in the game when you choose English.


5/18/2019 UPDATE: Here we are half a year later and nothing in the game has been fixed. None of the issues players have asked the developers to address have been resolved. The game had potential but the developers are garbage and destroyed any chance at this game having success by their own selfish choices.

Used to be a great game when it first started development -- essentially a video game version of The Descent. But when it caved in to player demands, made it multiplayer, and turned it into a worse version of Rust the game turned into complete sh!t.

So sad to see a game with so much potential turn into a piece of garbage.

PROTECT THE RICE

Great concept in the like of SmashTV with really nice artwork. The only issue is I "beat" the game in 15 minutes and doesn't have much replay value as there's not a lot of variety. However the game is still in Early Access so I hope to see improvements!

Conclusion: Good game -- but not worth $5 until they add more content.
