Honestly, I am very mixed on how I feel about Payday 3, but something I can say for certain is that not having a offline mode option is one of it's biggest flaws as it will take years to find a match. It's a fun game but it's just really hard given the circumstances of Always-Online.

It might get better in the future but then what's the point in playing the game after they're done? It'll just end up being literally unplayable. The life of this game feels short despite it's fun and gameplay. If you're a fan of Payday then I do suggest it but if you're not and want to get into the series, play Payday 2. If you don't like Always-Online then play Payday 2.

Before reading this, I am splitting this up into two parts. Broken desync hit-boxes (which of right now was and still is in since 4.5.1) will probably consist until 4.5.2 at minimum, at most it won't be fixed until we complain again. If you want basically up to date news on BHVR's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ then I suggest popping in and checking Scott Jund's channel. Check out his content as well as he's genuinely a hilarious guy.

-- If you are playing on patch 4.5.x (from 0 to whenever they fix Desync) --
There are a lot of things you will need to understand about what's been going on. Survivors are having Desync issues where the killer is a couple of feet behind where they actually are. BHVR has heard us as of writing this but previously they didn't listen to what people said about the PTB or didn't have enough time to revert it. They need to learn to take their time on updates and actually listen to their community. They also need to stop putting in things that NOBODY wanted or asked for. Don't get me wrong, the new UI was a little bit of eye-candy but it's all-over the place and generally isn't good for a competitive scene/feel. I get REALLY competitive in this game and I want to keep improving but now 'n days, it seems impossible. I play both Survivor and Killer, both with their fair share of issues. Right now, the main problems are Survivors getting Desync and (I have no idea if they boosted the chance of this but) survivors plundering a key by chance without any luck increasing perks/offerings. If you are planning to get this game then search up what BHVR has done and make sure the Desync issue is fixed. If you don't then you will regret getting this game. I would say they are prioritizing the next update to fix Desync issues but last few things I saw from their twitter was an slightly updated UI and a profanity filter on post-game chat which really doesn't matter at all.

P.S. BHVR can't revert to a previous build because they don't keep them. They should keep the previous build of very build they make just in case this happens again. (Or better yet, BHVR needs a hard-drive or a database to keeping old builds in so they can revert stuff) No builds means everything is final and that's disorganized as ♥♥♥♥.

-- If you are playing when Desync is fixed --
Congratulations... If you are a vet. player reading this in which case... great job on surviving this ♥♥♥♥-storm. Otherwise, I wish you the best of luck playing this game. You are probably going to have to try to suck up as much BP as possible to catch up (I would suggest trying to get Doctor with Barbecue and Chilli, Distressing and maybe two other perks as soon as possible) and be prepared for the game to take a turn for the worst every single time BHVR updates the game. BHVR may have fixed possibly by far the WORST update in DBD history (as of writing this) but they probably are going to find some way of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up so hard, they will make it even worse.

If you aren't up for being stressed out then I would suggest playing literally anything else. At the start, you will feel discouraged, the community will treat you like garbage and it's really gonna suck but once you get enough to get anywhere in the game (which to be honest, I still don't really even know when that is other than maybe just unlocking all teachables) then you might have a little bit of fun playing this. If you don't have a lot of time on your hands though then it's better to play something else like Civilization. (DBD meme. lol)
-----------------------------------------------

In short, this game had a LOT of promise and even got Pyramid-Head in the game but the BHVR team (as of writing this) is lazy as ♥♥♥♥ and put minimal effort into DBD. If you are still insistent on buying this game then I wish you the best of luck and welcome to hell. Watch some Otzdarva to get started as he is VERY educational about this game.

Sorry this was quite long but I am genuinely pissed off at BHVR and this stupid game right now and I just want to warn everyone of the dangers of getting into this game. This game is buggy, dysfunctional and unbalanced as all hell.

I really enjoyed this game, I played it the first chance I got to. So I decided to list the pros and cons for everyone if they were wondering.

Pros:
- Amazing Graphics.
- Easy to navigate.
- Dev's are (mostly) working on bugs when told by the community.
- Lots of gore, which is great due to... you know, the movies have a crap ton of it.
- Losts of kills including uniqe kills.
- Perks are reasonable and are somewhat balanced.
- As long as you don't have lag, there is smooth gameplay.
- Jason's Abilities are reasonibly balanced.
- Allows you to do things in the movies. (For example: Wear Jason's mother's sweater and to stop him from attacking for a minute.
- Tom Savini Jason... What else can I say. (You will see this in the cons but this is personal and nothing the devs can fix due to players)
- As it isn't for Jason (For obvious reasons) they included a character customization to all the survivors.

Cons:
- Major and minor bugs. Fixed most but might not be all of them.
- When you play Tom Savini Jason. Everyone leaves for no reason at all. It sucks due having pay 5 bucks for when everyone leaves. (And if you are that person who does that, please stop it as some people want to play as Tom Savini Jason or Jason in general. I get it because he is slightly unbalanced but that is a little bit stupid when you leave JUST because of that Jason.)
- I don't really find this anoying but I hated how you have to level up to get custom character clothes and play as different Jasons. I don't mind the clothes it's the Jasons part that gets me (Anyone catch my joke... part 2, 3... no ok I will stop). The reason why it makes me mad is cause each Jason has their own uniqe play style. Say you weren't good as Jason Part 3 but you were good as Jason Part 7. You would have to keep leveling up as Part 3 (as he is the only unlocked Jason at start.) until you get part 7. I also am not anoyed by this due to having the Tom Savini Jason and my play style matches him but I am more speaking for the people who think they can't play as Jason because their not good however it's just the play style.)

For all who are currious on why I used strikeout, it's because they fixed most of them.

Overall:
This is an amazing games, lots of things you can explore in the game like the Voorhees tapes which I can't figure out how to unlock XD. There are badges which are like if achievements had side quests. The achievements are awesome and I would have added the H2O delirious easter egg however it doesn't effect gameplay at the slightiest. Thanks for reading.
