Very relaxing and chill up until it's not at all

i get to loook at Leon for basically the whole game, that alone is 10/10. All the other stuff on top is just bonus

A true masterpiece, has some repetitive gameplay and boring fetch quest sidequests. But the story and world, and especially that OST, are truly works of art. Also PC port has some annoying bugs that still haven't been fixed because Square is the worst

The DLC is super good, music is really good, encounters are super challenging and fun. I never felt cheated, even on Nightmare difficulty, but man, the final boss is atrocious. The devs should have known better. It's frustrating, not difficult
Do you like it when a boss has huge AOE attacks with giant range that regens his HP?
Do you like it when a boss is invincible 95% of the time?
Has several different ways he can regenerate mass amounts of health?
And you can only attack at tiny intervals, which are sometimes several minutes away?
Well then ignore this review and have fun. But honestly just lower the difficulty for the boss. If you like the Lore stuff, it's pretty good and interesting. The levels are a bit shorter than I would have liked, but super packed with cool ♥♥♥♥, but man, that boss is awful

Ignoring the hype and the controversy, this game is really stinkin' good. It has lots of flaws, and you basically require a decent PC to fully enjoy it, or one of the new consoles. The game is missing lots of content, and you can tell certain questlines were cut due to time restrictions. And lots of people have had lots of crashes. But when the game works, and when you're actually playing, rather than reloading saves due to bugs, it's a blast. The writing and characters are super well done, gunplay is solid and satisfying, and creating your ideal build is tons of fun.
If you can run the game, I highly recommend. Thankfully, CDPR seems very set on improving the game, and with free DLC coming soon, I can only feel excited.
And it's gorgeous, even on medium settings.
