Hi L.D. Appreciate the reply and the good luck.
Now when you say "don't stoop to their level", what do you mean? Police are still allowed to PIT and ram drivers off the road right? If we're being super realistic, we can limit that to non-populated areas.
Thank you for replying and showing interest. I will keep you in mind when we reach the required amount.
What I mean by "don't stoop to the racer's level" is that you shouldn't be acting like the cops from NFS: HEAT. Don't purposely try to cause damage to the environment, endanger AI motorists, bash the racers around, etc. Stay professional. PIT manuevers and controlled RAMS are definitely allowed but use them in moderation. Don't worry, one officer during a pursuit will act as the primary unit while the next in line will become secondary, which is a communications liasion between the pursuit units and the Dispatcher. Either the dispatcher or Supervisor will coordinate the pursuit along with the primary unit. During that time, you'll coordinate with the primary and the Supervisor to determine best and most appropriate actions to take to halt the street races while causing the least amount of property damage or harm to other motorists.
I understand that the AI in this game and the environment will at times become and adversary of the police itself, so I'm willing to see how things go and make changes as we go along. This is, after all, a progressive development.
Are Challengers out because there's more options for Challengers as well.
Lastly, do they need to be Street Racing or is Touring okay?
a) Okay. My bad. It's the SRT8 then.
b) No. I can include Challengers but I'm trying to keep to realistic representations of US-based police fleets is all.
c) I would prefer Street Racing spec, but some (I repeat SOME) work for TC. Debatable.
I mean...if you have Steam, I can make it work on Steam. Also, if you are going to be a cop, that's really why you'd need a mic. Racers can use in-game chat if they like. As long as you meet the other requirements, you can join.
