Faction Quests

Okay, so I finished Chapter 4 of Horatio faction quest, got reward and... that's all. No continuation.
So, my question - is this indeed is ending of faction quest storyline and it doesn't give you any Quest victory? Or supposed continuation didn't appear because of bug?

Every faction quest has four chapters. I do not believe there is yet a Quest Victory in game; Endless Legend didn't have one at launch, either.

Actually some faction quests ARE bugged. They should continue, but don't. In this case, you complete Ch. 4:Part 1... and never get a two. It alludes to a final showdown being setup... then nothing. You also don't get the achievement for completing the quest.

Its not just Horatio... I had a chapter 3 quest for the rifborn break this way too. I believe it was the "cooperate" pacifist line that upgrades your RB pops with +4 dust... after that nothing else popped up. Should have started a chapter 4 but never did.

So far i got all the faction quest achievements for the factions i played, United Empire, Horatio and Unfallen. So dont seem to be broken in general. 4.2 was the last quest for all of those.

Well, the Horatio quest IS finished, with Five long dead and Prime freshly executed - at least if THAT piece of info was true, so I don't think there is any continuation to it.

From what I remembered, you gather up resources then he said something like "I can't wait to find him and kill him with poison." Then there was no achievement for completing the Horatio quest.

By the way, I just play with the United Empire - Mezari and fair enough I think the end of the quest is shown once you win the game, Almost that is what I think because after finishing the quest line I was like: "Ok!" then finished the game and I saw the cutscene and was like: "Ohhh so that is why the emperor did what He did". So maybe the victory cutscene clear some questions to other factions too (I just don't play them)

There are cutscenes at the end of the game!? I've never seen them, but that must be because I like to always "continue playing" then save my game after I've won. When I then quit, it never shows any victory score screen like it does in Endless Legend. Are there also meant to be cutscenes when you quit as soon as you win?

Also, are faction quest lines sometimes bugged? I'm playing my first Horatio game, and I've completed (I think) Chapter 2 of the faction quest, and no new ones have yet popped up. This hasn't happened in any of my previous games as other factions.

EDIT: It was actually Chapter 3 Part 1 of the Horatio quest.

The UE questline had a cutscene ending. Not sure about the other races, but I'm sure if one race has it then they probably all do.

Was that when you completed the quest itself? Or when you later won the game?

I did see a cutscene in the middle of a game when completing the Academy Questline.

After I'd won the game.Though I had also completed the racial lore quests too. It was specific to the Emperor of the UE and the future of the UE. I'd expect other races to be similar.

I kind of use the quests to guide what I do in the game. Now that my faction quest has ended, I'm not looking forward to the next 50 turns of just growing and conquering on the huge map I selected.

The faction quests in Endless Legend kind of took me from beginning to end and gave me a reason to try and beat the game with each faction. I was hoping Endless Space would be the same, but I guess all the faction quests just end on part 4. Boo. I guess I'll consider that my win, cause I don't think I can keep going just to go on. I haven't even met 6 of the other empires yet.
