I'm retired & living the life in CA. I enjoy strategy games, simulation games, building games, exploration games, and simulations. I don't like games where you have to do a lot of killing. I don't play MOO games. I also give chess lessons in real life.

I am a published author of a computer game, and I did the original design work for another game that is now in the Computer Gaming Hall of Fame. I was also Director of Software Development for another company.

When people send me friendship requests, these are the things I consider:
1. Can the person read & write English?
2. Is their profile visible?
3. What games do they own, and do we have any in common.
4. What have they said in their reviews?
