Back in 2021, BattlEye(the main AC for D2) announced and released their initial support for Proton in November that year. Having played on my old PS5 for a month before trying it on PC since that release, launching the game, only to get a POTATO error, getting a ban hours later. Since then, Destiny 2 is one of the few games I have that actively refuse to support the Linux OS, despite having their game on Stadia with a native Linux build (before Stadia was shut down). At this point, I am even also banned from their support site, unable to access my support tickets.
