If you've already played world, I'd say while rise doesn't have the same stunning visuals of MHW, What it does have is a really different feel for gameplay, With the wirebugs added to the game you are an incredible amount more mobile. even the great sword has the ability to jump out of combo failures and you aren't punished nearly as heavily for bad positioning. The monster variety in MHRise is also an incredible amount better than that of world, instead of the same "wyvern" monster scheme that they stuck to for all of world due to limitations in the engine, with the games visuals toned down they were able to do a lot more.

I'd say if you enjoyed world, You'll enjoy rise, a bit easier but still a good package of a game, hoping the new dlc ramps up the difficulty
