Absolutely amazing! It's been so long since we've had a good feature rich RPG like this with so many choices and customization, you can make hybrid classes with lots of spells and weapons to choose from. There are lots of sub-races and sub-classes to choose from to further the customization, and the character creator lets you go crazy with any skin or hair colors with demon and glowing eyes for any race, I love it!

This game has what's been missing from many RPG's for a long time, true deep RPG elements with so much customization to be anything you want, I'm overwhelmed with joy to see newer games bringing these elements back. The best part about it is that it was only $60 with no microtransactions and it's completely DRM free and the multiplayer is optional, you can play offline if you don't want to deal with any server problems and you don't even need an account.

The dialogue system and companions have so many impactful choices, I decided to risk it all for an "evil romance" option and that caused half my party to leave me for good reason. This game uses the classic 5e D&D system so there is a bit of RNG and dice rolling involved, but the game does all the math for you in case you're not into that stuff, all you really need to know is the skill damage and miss chance in your ability tooltips.

I also really loved all the dark themes in the game, you can choose a "Dark Urge" backstory which completely changes up the main story, your character will often have dark thoughts and you can choose to act on or try to fight the urge and things might happen to you in your sleep. I also really loved how customizable your companions are, you can change all their classes in case you really like a certain character but don't like what class they are.

The only negative about this game is the way the multiplayer works, once someone creates a character in your game you're stuck with that character forever, I really hope they come up with a way to delete or store custom characters in a bank of some kind. [EDIT] Larian listened and added exactly this! I love this developer!

I'm really hoping this game raises the standard for RPG's, it's genuinely a really fun, no fuss, complete game with no caveats, It's just a 100% pure experience and I really wish more games where like this.
