VERY Serious Rust Player, have 10 months exp on Rust, working on getting to the next level daily. AK spray on point. 2k hrs already. Over the last 6 months I've split from a long term partner, sold our house and moved back with my parents. I've been suffering from Anxiety & Depression pretty badly, Rust has been the escape I needed & It's done so much good for my mental health. Really grateful!

I find it hilarious that flexing your hours in this game is considered like a way of social acceptance is that weird to anyone else… like showing how much of a life you don’t have is somehow cool lol. And also flexing your sprays of a game just make you seem super nerdy. The flexes are really backwards in this game and I find it hilarious. Like I have 3.2k hrs but I don’t go around flexing my ♥♥♥♥ like I’m some D1 athlete. You all need to stop thinking having a lot of hrs in a game is cool.

I’m still newer to the game (400hrs) and I have the best strategy for getting a base down on wipe. Typically, I have tried to beeline for a base location (I really like building near miltuns or launch) and get something down- but inevitably, it ends up with me getting bowed down before I even get there or right when I get there and trying to farm enough for a TC, lock, doors, etc. It makes me want to save my 30 bag cloth to make a bow so I’m not just a lamb out there with no way to defend myself, but I dunno. I also see some people advocate for just running roads to Outpost or something. I tried that but usually someone finds an early horse and bow and they just roam the roads.

Ive become the best rust pvp player in close range and mid range spray with ak and pretty good with other weapons. Beaten alot of pro players in close and mid range spray with ak in a serous 1v1. Their hours ranged from 2k to 6k hours. One of the best sprayers with the ak in close and mid range beaten a lot of top players with it not exaggerating I'm just really good at the game and I have skills. All the really good players considered to be really good at the game some not all accuse me of aimbot when I beat them but it's pretty childish, but I don't of course I just have fun at the game and I'm pretty competitive if you are beating me it's either I'm not on forum or I'm messing around. Feel free to challenge me to a 1v1 don't mind my hours I have 425 hours in combat tag I spend 5 hours a day purely on pvp not that much either I'm busy or I'm just bored of the game anyways thanks for reading my bio and I currently stopped playing rust so cut me some slack if I'm playing really badly against you

my spray routine? Here's my routine (it's gonna sound like alot but I don't do it everyday only most days, plus If I do do it I'll cut some of the stuff sometimes to save time). Start at 125 doing sprays with irons. Then toss on a holo. Then I go to 200 meters and put on a 4x. Then I put on a holo, and maybe do some iron sprays after. I then do straifing and crouch straifing sprays at 200m. After that I head back to the normal bots room in ukn, and I practice flicking mid spray from head to head (start a spray on one head, leap spraying and unaim while transferring to the other head) (I also like to do close range straif sprays aiming only for the head) I start at 25m and work my way up to 125. At farther range worry less about headshots and more about hitting especially when newer. Then I like to do a few sprays at 125 meters. Then I go into aim train with moving bots and spray for a bit using crouch, crouch straifs, and straifing.

Then I either do scrims or hop on my server. It's alot, but I am the best rust pvp player in close range and mid range spray with ak

Btw.. YEAH i know i have ONE vac ban on my account from 73 days ago but it’s a FALSE BAN from counter strike source. I dot know why it is there. If you are upset that I am beating you maybe you should go practice yotur spray routine instead of CRYING about it in CHAT. We offlined you because you SUCK it is not my fault you were not awake when we could raid.

ps i work for survers (they restart on thersdays)

After around an hour and a half of bad spawns, scarce resources, and short-lived ventures into the more inhabited areas of the map, I ran into the first friendly player I had met in Rust. I had initially spotted him pretty far away, but I paid no real notice to him as he had a rock equipped. Eventually he got close enough for us to clearly see each other and, upon the realization that neither of us were hostile, we both pulled out torches as a mutual sign of peace (or the highest possible level of non-aggression that can exist in Rust). I dropped my old hatchet for him as I had just finished crafting one with metal, and he gave me some food as a sign of good faith. After nearly 30 minutes of searching and scavenging, we had pooled enough resources to craft us each some minimally decent gear. We knew that if we wanted to progress any further we would need to mine boulders, and a lot of them. I used what remaining materials we had to put together a 9mm handgun and several bullets, though I reminded him it was only in case we really needed it. I had decided earlier during my many unwanted experiences with bullets to the face that I would try my hardest not to run around slaughtering every newly spawned player that I came across. A few minutes out from camp we had encountered a player with a hunting bow. I had been running with my hatchet out, so I quickly took out the handgun in my inventory and pointed it in his direction, attempting to scare him away. When the player was far enough away we continued up a road towards a few stones. The area was surrounded by trees so I opted to stand guard with the handgun while my friend mined. Just as we were moving on to the next boulder, I heard the gunfire start. I turned around to see a player with an assault rifle gunning down my friend, and before I could land any shots on him he had already begun shooting me. It was at that moment that I remembered I hadn't even crafted a sleeping bag for the camp, as that was one of the objectives of the trip we were taking. I typed into the chat, thanking the friend I had made for all of his help and asking the player who had killed us if we had been intruding in his area or something along those lines. He simply wrote "Sorry guys :D" This is the single problem that I have with games like this. Why does it have to be "shoot-on-sight?" That player had obviously taken us by surprise and was better equipped than us. Even if he had a justifiable reason for approaching two very poorly equipped players (which he really didn't considering we were in the middle of the woods and he had pretty much all of the gear you could need in this game) he could have easily told us to cooperate by either putting away our weapons or just leaving the area. But of course, he comes around, sees some players trying to gather enough supplies to get to a stable point in the game, and decides to go out of his way to approach us and use unecessary ammo for a hatchet and a handgun with four bullets. Then, to add even more of an insult, he adds an apology at the end, as if he had no choice but to shoot two unexpecting, half-naked, unprepared players.

All in all, though, I do see a lot of potential in this game, and the good in the community does shine through every once in a while. I just wish that people would realize that they don't need to go around killing players who haven't had the chance to experience the game. People like that are the single reason why so many players on steam feel that they wasted money on what would otherwise be a great experience.

You're a coward!" "Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself!" "I hope you get hypoxia and die!"

Just a sampling of the venom currently being spewed at Dean Hall just because the guy reiterated something he's been saying since June of 2013; that, in a year's time, he'll be moving on from DayZ to pursue other interests. If anyone's actually taken the time to read his interviews or watch the many streams he's guested on, you will have heard those same words uttered a half-dozen times, but, because one journalist decides to take something Rocket said amidst a barrage of other questions and make it the headline of their "exclusive" article, a large, bloodthirsty chunk of this community has taken up their torches and are ready to storm Frankenstein's castle.

All this despite the fact that Rocket's made it abundantly clear that he has every intention to stay on as project lead until Beta (which, once again, he's said all along), and, when he does move on from Bohemia PHYSICALLY, he'll "always be involved with DayZ so long as the game has life". The man just wants to go home. Is it that hard to understand? Can you really blame someone for that? Look, Prague's really nice, but, after a week there, I'd want to get home, too, let alone years! And all this talk about him "stealing" your money or misrepresenting the game; how, exactly, did he do that? He's said his time with DayZ would come to an end once he felt his input was no longer needed. Hell, in an 8 month old issue of PC Gamer, he said he only envisioned himself remaining at the helm of DayZ for "another 12 months or so". If you're such fans of the game, you probably should have read that when it came out months before Alpha was even made available to you.

As a gamer whose not only enjoyed the hell out of the game, but also the development teams interaction, transparency, and active solicitation of our thoughts and ideas, I fear all this vitriol will make not only this team (especially Rocket, whose done NOTHING to merit the hateful comments we've seen here) back away from being so sharing and transparent with the community, but also make other devs think twice about getting so "close" to their consumer base.

What we've seen with the development of DayZ has been unprecedented. As an old timer with over thirty years of gaming behind him, I've never seen a developer be so open with the community, and interact with us on the level that Rocket and his team have. Now, just because some overeager streamer decided to take a mostly known fact and turn it into an attention getting "exclusive" all in the name of page views, a large chunk of the community Rocket essentially created (because, let's face it; if he and Hicks weren't regulars around these parts, this sub-reddit wouldn't be nearly as popular) has shown themselves to be nothing more than entitled pricks who think their $30 dollars is enough to buy a man's soul. Please! $30 dollars is nothing compared to the hours of enjoyment you've probably gotten since release (and don't pretend you're not enjoying it or you wouldn't be playing it).

Rocket could have easily put this alpha out there months ago and never took a single suggestion from any of us, done a single stream, or answered one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ question on this sub-reddit, and it would have still sold a million copies, but he chose to be transparent. He chose to INCLUDE us. He let us help shape the game. What other creator has embraced the community the way Rocket has?

Perhaps this is as much Rocket's fault as it is the people who are calling for his head. Maybe he shouldn't have put himself out there like he did? Maybe he shouldn't be so quick to say what's on his mind? Maybe he gave us too much credit and thought we all understood he wasn't a deity or existed solely for our benefit and was, in fact, a human being.

saddest person on the planet, I have never seen someone so blinded by their own autism. Doesn't understand social interactions and might actually have asbergers. God bless your heart because you are clinically insane.
