I bought this game on Steam after spending 25+ hours with it on Xbox Game Pass PC this weekend. The GP version sucks (at the moment it is very behind - lacking DLSS, the ability to name your pals/character/guild/sign posts, it is buggier, and is even missing an ‘exit game’ button and proper controller support, there are also no dedicated servers on the GP version, so it caps out at 4 players too). Steam is hands down the best place to buy, and play Palworld!

Now for my review… as someone who loves survival-craft builders like Valheim, Conan, Astroneer, Vrising, Grounded, etc, AS WELL as Monster Hunter - this was super enjoyable. There is some expected jank and balancing needed for the late grinds in end game, but it is still fun. You can collect, build, fight, farm, and even breed chickens by force feeding them cake for hundreds of hours, making the price on Palworld a great value too.

Oh and all the butthurt crybabies mad the game ‘ripped off Pokémon’ or possibly ‘used AI art’ are nothing more than mentally unstable weirdos with blue hair. Go away, the world hates you.
