Found a replacement?

Has anybody found a close replacement of BFP4F? Interested to know if anyone did and what it is. I'm more with BF2.

Has anyone found a game where there is a weapon which behaves like BFP4F's G3A4?

It is rly hard to find GOOD replacement for P4F, most of F2P-P2W games are mixed imitations of BF, CoD, CS series. Play4Free was under the 'original' brand, that's why was so good
at the beginning with maps, weapons etc. Finally hole game has been fucked up by devs.

I agree with you.

Tried Warface and Dirty bomb - fun but still not a 'BFP4F replacement'. Last night played BF2, BFBC2, BF3 and BF4, and I feel convinced that the only replacement for BFP4F still has to be a BF, nothing else comes close.
I have BF 1942, BF Vietnam and 2142 too, but haven't got the time and patience to 'post-gamespy fix' them for online playing yet in order to comment on online experience.

Insurgency, uninstalled after 10 minutes

BF4, quitted after 10 seconds...

BF3, quitted after 10 minutes... (my son plays a bit)

BF2 (P4FBF2, project reality...)
I don't understand who kills me, how he kills me, from where he kill me (no killcam!!! so a lot of campers, a lot!)... no BIG centered message on screen when you kill someone (yes, you can edit "english.utxt" and add spaces to center "kill message" but it is really a small palliative) for me this game is really too messy.

Rising StormRed Orchestra 2, is a simulation but like BF2, only campers (no killcam...)

Play Heroes & Generals, quitted after 10 minutes... big maps but only fields! to many fields!!!

Warface, good engine but maps are really too small, like a box of matches

SKILL SPECIAL FORCE 2, Warface clone (or Warface is a clone of SKILL...)

Urban Terror, (my firt fps on windows after I have stopped playing racing games) too fast and too jumps, you must have reflex of a teen (I am 43 years old)

now found old game on steam HOMEFRONT, singleplayer seems 50% of BF, 50% of cod, it seems quite funny (big maps also), toonight I have to test multiplayer...

it is very difficult to find a replacement of BFP4F... I need my beloved ak47!!! :-(

SKILL is the same game as th F2P Soldier Front 2 on Steam - only SF2 is in US and SKILL I think is Europe based. Can both games play on the same servers?

Anyway SKILL is Europe's version of U.S.'s Soldier Front 2 - and players from these continents cannot play together - but it is still more COD than BF - no point for those who already have COD.

Been discussing with hitman72 and Shark93 about 'BFP4F' replacements at battlelog.co:
While BF2 is closely similar mapwise, it all ends there. BF2 mechanics are all totally different than anything else out there.

BFBC2:
- is a good candidate to satisfy BFP4F cravings - it probably has more in common to BFP4F than anything else out there, and the online population is enough all round the clock to have servers in pretty much all the game modes (including Rush).
Plus the fun Vietnam dlc (which is still having online players pretty much all round the clock too).

BF2 AIX 2.0 Mod
- I think everyone knows about this awesome mod - which is also fun for single player. Weapons mechanics is not like BF2 (for those who dislike BF2's weapon characterictics), many new cool weapons and there is nothing to get used to - just straight into the action. There's still an active server waiting to be populated (with all weapons unlocked):

It has always been both single and multiplayer, but unfortunately the only server running it is unpopulated now.

I agree with him Coffeecup, BFBC2 is the most "similar" to BFP4F and I was very optimist the first time I launched BFBC2, I have thought: "there will be tons of mods for it"... instead there are no mods at all! I have not investigated a lot, perhaps files are too crypted for modders :-( I already saw a BFP4F mod... :-(

The BFP4F mod, is that the singleplayer BF2 mod P4F beta 0.13?

I have seen P4F beta for BF2... any updating from years, only singleplayers, no killcam and no kill message :-( seen BF Online Korea? :-P damn is BFP4F!!! but if I have understood well, it is also ended :-(

The Korean online Battlefield's maps are BF2's - but dunno whether weapon handling will like P4F.

About the BF2 P4f mod - the only thing that is 'P4F' in the mod are just the Sharqi, Karkand and Myanmar maps. Everything else is different (if there are, its purely cosmetic).

BFBC2 is not P4F but is good fun. The number of players/servers I THINK has not lessened much if any at all since the last 2 years - so there is still some time before it dies (unless EA shuts it down tomorrow - which won't come as a surprise).
