We are not an Evil Corporation. We are just a small indie studio that needs this revenue so we can make Miner Wars MMO, sequels, and ultimately RULE THE WORLD!
On the other hand, if you're attempting to pirate the game, I understand the complaints. Not agree with - understand.
Keen have done everything right, the always online is to run additional computations on their server and keep up their persistent online world, multiplayer and stats. With the added bonuses of helping to stop scumbag hackers and pirates.
That's cool, like most of the modern world I've been persistently connected to the Internet since the year 2004. It's harder to find a device in my house that isn't connected to the Internet than one that is. Always online DRM built into the game? Not a problem for me, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ programs like uPlay and Origin? That's a problem. Third Party Drivers being installed in the background putting insecurities on my PC? Problem. Devs trying to protect their profits from their games? We cool. I wouldn't want people stealing my ♥♥♥♥ either.
That's quite a contradiction we have going on here.
If what Phrix89 says is true, about your company deleting his post. Then what did are doing is in fact, evil. You want revenue? One main priority should come to mind, owning up to your F up plain and simple.
What ♥♥♥♥ up? Protecting their game? That's smart.
Swing and a miss
